Women and Fashion

One of the most important characteristics of, and sadly also to a woman is fashion. Much can be said about a woman by the way she dresses.

She wants to be trendy, and as such, she'll sport anything and everything that has been brought to us by the fashion police (designers), and accepted by fashion inmates (people).

You know, this should be okay, right? I mean, why couldn't we express ourselves by the way we dress? We're simply making a 'fashion statement.'

Well, I desperately want to know this; what is the statement they are making with the low, and still lowering hiphugger pants? I mean, what could they possibly be trying to say, other than "Hello, Moon?"

The crotch-to-waist measurement has been getting lower and lower, now at a 3 or 4 inches, whereas a standard pair of jeans is about 10 & 12 inches. Does anyone have any idea how hard it is to find pants that reach my waist anymore? No, not jeans, I don't even like those (don't wear them), but dressy slacks.

Do any of these women realize that the other people at the restaurant are really grossed out by what they have to see while they eat?

And do they even consider that there are things we still don't want our young children to see - things they don't even know they themselves possess yet?

But alas, this may - after all - have something to do with Ladies and Modern Decency.
