Going to New York

I'm going to New York...na-na-boo-boo!

Yes, we leave on Saturday morning, for the whole Spring break week. I'm hoping to find a good topic while I'm up there, to report upon my return. I'm sure I'll find several posts worth. It's amazing the things you see up there.

I'm originally from Brooklyn, so, I know what I'm talking about.

Ciao!!!

A Decent Dress

Hello ladies!!!

If you checked out the last link from that last post, you know what A Decent Dress is all about. Ladies, if you don't want to be looked upon the way most men will look at you, please wear a decent dress.

I mean, let's face it, even the nicest kind of guys have curious eyes. And, can you blame them? Even women have this problem. I'll be honest, when I see another woman, dressed a certain way, and flaunting herself--I look. Whether I'm thinking that's a nice dress! or gosh, I wish I were that blessed! or what a flirt!--I look. Women admire each other, the way we dress, walk, talk. Yes, sometimes it's an envy issue. Admit it!

I don't think men have this problem, though. It would be pretty weird to see my hubby looking at another guy, thinking that he wants to buy that shirt, or those pants, or wishing he had that slick hair.

Now, guys will look at women. Not all of them, of course not. But, generally speaking, it's a man thing. A guy will lust after the carnal desires of his heart, and let's face it, guys desire certain things. You don't have to be a Christian to realize this.

So, if you sincerely don't want men staring at you with lustful eyes, wear a decent dress. That does include a decent blouse, pair of pants, skirt, etc. Just dress decently. Standards by which decency can be measured do vary. So, let's consider some...

*If you're not quite sure about how you feel wearing certain clothing, don't wear them. Don't force yourself just to simply look good, or please anyone. Find the style that defines your level of decency.

*If you think you're revealing too much, you probably are. Don't wear that!

*If you have someone you can trust, ask for input.

*If you're showing cleavage, don't do it!

Ladies, men lose respect for women who constantly reveal all of themselves. Men really do like secrets...I've read that somewhere but it's too late for my research, so I'll get going now.
